Once upon a time the Gingerbread Castle provided an amazing place for families to experience Grimm’s fairy tales brought to life, enjoy a picnic, take a train ride and enjoy some tasty gingerbread cookies. People carry those memories fondly throughout their lives.
But even stories that are written in stone, sometimes start to fade and crumble, without the right care and attention. We have chronicled the history of the Gingerbread Castle at the GingerbreadCastleLibrary.com, so that everyone can visit it once again, virtually. We hope Amazing Stone can give the Gingerbread Castle and the historic site of the Wheatsworth Mill a second chance, in the 21st century, to be a family destination.
The 2012 Fishing Derby looks like a terrific start, we hope a lot of young fisherman and fisherwoman come out to support your work at the Castle.
